Missions
Working for the good of our communities local, national and global is an important focus of our church and the importance of our faith in the world.
There are many mission initiatives at Andover United Methodist Church, some directed by the Missions Committee and some led by various organizations throughout the year. The Andover Community Food Bank is a major project, serving as the Andover-wide food pantry for those in need of assistance.
In 2011, AUMC will be focusing on a new partnership with Missionaries Shirley and Joe Edgerton, providing assistance on the Haitian island of La Gonâve.
